Every dancer enrolled in a dance

school will be cast.

Audition Dates:

August 25, 2012

3-4 pm Pointe Dancers

4-5 pm Professional Dancers & Actors

September 8, 2012

2:00-2:30 Kindergarten & 1st grade

2:30-3:00 2nd & 3rd grade

3:15-4:00 4th & 5th grade

4:00-5:00 6th grade and up

The Wilmington Ballet Company provides quality professional ballet events to Southeastern North Carolina.  It is the Company’s mission to promote the performing arts in our local community through education and performance opportunities for area dancers.

at Minnie Evans Art Center

The 2012 Nutcracker & Festival of Trees is being produced by Wilmington Ballet Company and Cameron Art Museum.  They are sponsored by: Landfall Foundation, NC Arts Council, WWAY, Cumulus Broadcasting, Wilmington Parent, JW Benefits Insurance Group, Ashley High School and Wilmington School of Ballet.

The Festival of Trees will benefit Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center.

Cape Fear Festival of Trees and Nutcracker is a week long holiday extravaganza that includes an extraordinary array of trees in the delightful setting of the Cameron Art Museum, a full length Nutcracker at the state of the art Minnie Evans Performing Arts Center, and a spectacular performance series showcasing the best local talent! (may also include train-still pending) In addition to being the regions most delightful holiday event, the Festival of Trees is a benefit for Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center.
